The Limestone is a sedimentary rock that can be found naturally in the environment. The rock is mostly made up of the chemical combination calcium carbonate (CaCO3) in the form of calcite, which is a mineral. We have our own limestone manufacturing unit. Limestone’s Most Common Applications
- Limestone is widely used as a construction material. Because of its great weight, it is best suited to shorter structures.
- Most modern construction applications rely on concrete rather than natural stone. Limestone is a key component of the cement that holds concrete together, so it’s used in almost every modern structure.
- Limestone is used to balance acidic soil because it naturally improves pH. Crushed stone, also known as agricultural lime, is put into the soil before crops are sown for better growing conditions.
